Germany had recovered better from the tough semi-final loss against Poland yesterday and were leading with 2-0 after 4 minutes. Hungary evened the score twice to 3-3 and to 4-4, but then Germany proved to be the better team and as the Hungarians spent a lot of time on the penalty bench Germany increased their lead and could score six power play goals.

The final score was 15-6 to Germany. Sebastian Bernieck with 5+1 was awarded as best player of Germany and Norbert Gábor Ressely (2+0) of Hungary.
