The official invitation to the EuroFloorball Cup 2009 has been sent to the Men’s and Women’s Champions from each IFF member Association in Europe, the 2nd best teams of the top nations and the EuroFloorball Champions of 2008 (AIK & IKSU).
The final round tournaments’, consisting of 8 teams in each the Men’s and the Women´s tournament, will be played in Frederikshavn, Denmark, October 14-18, 2009 (Wednesday-Sunday). The technical meeting (compulsory) will be held October 13 (Tuesday).
If correctly registered, signed also by the national Association, the following teams are directly qualified to the EFC Final round:
Men’s Final round: AIK (Reign. Champions & Sweden), SSV (Finland), SV Wiler-Ersigen (Switzerland), SSK Vitkovice (Czech Republic) & Rødovre FC (Denmark).
Women’s Final round: IKSU (Reign. Champions), UHC Dietlikon (Switzerland), Balrog B/S IK (Sweden), Dekanka Praha (Czech Republic) & Frederikshavn Bulldogs (Denmark).
EFC Qualifications
The EFC Qualification for the 2nd best teams of the top 4 ranked Associations, will, preliminary, be played 21-23.08.2009 in Switzerland. The following teams are qualified to register:
Men: Warberg IC (Sweden), Tapanilan Erä (FIN), Tigers Langnau (SUI) & Tatran Stresovice(CZE)
Women: Red Ants Rychenberg (SUI), PSS (FIN) & TJ JM Chodov (CZE)
The EFC Qualification East (Armenia, Estonia, Finland W, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey & Ukraine) will, preliminary, be played in Latvia 26-30.08.2009 (Wednesday-Sunday).
The EFC Qualification West (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal & Spain) will, preliminary, be played in Austria 19-23.08.2009 (Wednesday-Sunday).
Registration & Fees
The registration form shall be sent or faxed to: International Floorball Federation, Alakiventie 2, FI-00920 Helsinki, Finland, Fax +358-9 454 214 50. The registration form shall be the IFF by hand latest on the 31st of May 2009.
The participation fee is now divided, the direct qualified teams shall pay 3000 CHF and the qualifying teams shall pay 2000 CHF for the qualification and if qualified to the Final Round app. 500 CHF after the qualification. The qualifying teams shall also share the referee costs* for the qualifications.
The fee shall be paid to the IFF account: Credit Suisse, CH-8700 Küsnacht, Account No. 4818-559200-11, Swift Code: CRESCHZZ87A, IBAN: CH13 0481 8055 9200 1100 0 to be the IFF by hand latest on the 31st of May 2009.
The receipt of payment shall be attached to the registration.
