VSV Unihockey surprised by winning the reigning champion, Wikings Zell, in the Austrian Men´s finals. VSV Unihockey secured their victory after winning two matches in a row in the best of three series.
VSV Unihokey won the first battle with 5-2 after good saves by their goalkeeper, Timmo Taurer.
The second game was played in Zell and also the other goalkeeper in VSV Unihockey, Mathias Frank, now made big saves and the offensive game of VSV was effective. This took the VSV Unihockey team to a 7-5 victory also in the second match, which was enough to secure the championship title.
The U19 team player of Austria, Timo Schmid, made 5 goals and 2 assists in the finals and scored a hat trick in the first match.
