The favourite, UHC Weissenfels, won the German Championship title, but only after a hard fight in the final. 

In the beginning of the match MFBC Leipzig could challenge the sevenfold champion and was leading the match with 4-1, but in the end the UHC Weissenfels affirmed their victory by winning the match with 8-6.

BAT Berlin and TEH Bremen needed 3 matches to decide the third place. In the best of three serie, BAT Berlin finally won two tough matches.

3. BAT Berlin

In the Women´s Finals Weissenfels/Chemnitz defeated the long term Champion SAHGA Halle yesterday with 3-2, so both of the Women´s Finalists have one victory. The third and decisive match will be played on the 3rd of May.
