SC Classic from Tampere renewed their Championship title in Finland as they won the Finnish Women´s league for the second year in a row.

In the Final series SC Classic played against Jyväskylän Happee. The third Final was played on Wednesday and SC Classic had won the two previous Final matches.

For the third Final, there were 980 spectators gathered to Tampere Arena. The home team was stronger in the beginning and had 2-0 lead after first period.

Happee had decided not to give up without a proper fight and they managed to tie the match in the beginning of the third period. After that Happee did not have the strength to score again and the rest of the goals were scored by Henna Yläsuo and Nina Rantala from SC Classic. Therefore SC Classic won the match 4-2 and secured their Championship title.

SC Classic was in the first place after the regular season. They also dominated the playoffs as they won all their opponents with 3-0 victories in the playoff´s series.
