This weekend the Slovenian Men´s and Women´s leagues got Champions for the season 2008-09.

Team Insport Skofja Loka won the men championship title for the 8th time in history by beating twice their opponent SD Zelenci Kranjska Gora. The pulsating encounters were full of turnovers, spectacular actions and goals for both teams.

Results of the Finals:
ŠD Zelenci Kranjska Gora – InSport Škofja Loka 3-5 (0-0,1-0,2-5)
InSport Škofja Loka – ŠD Zelenci Kranjska Gora  8-4 (3-3,4-0,1-1)

Third place went to FBC Borovnica with two victories over Polycom Brlog.

Women´s League was won by FBC Borovnica. Team was victorious in their last game of the season against ŠD Marmor Hotavlje, and with this victory they finished the league with 19 points. Last year´s Champion Insport Skofja Loka, were at the second place this year, while the bronze medal was taken by SD Marmor Hotavlje.
