Mr. Matti Ahde, who is also a member of parliament in Finland, was re-elected as President for the Finnish Floorball Federation during the FFF´s General Meeting held on Friday the 28th of November.
M. Ahde, 62, has been the President of the FFF since 2002 and will now continue as the President for the next two years, 2009 and 2010. The other eight FFF Board members were also elected during the meeting. All in all there were 15 persons nominated for the eight positions in the FFF Board and six new members were elected.

The Finnish Floorball Federation´s strategy, which reaches until the year 2013, is now in the implementation phase and Mr. Ahde looks positively at the organisational changes within the FFF administration, as the strengths of team work are better utilised. The aim is to better serve the member clubs by taking their specific needs into account and to have fulltime professional employees working in the big clubs in the future.
