Sweden won the Women´s WUC gold medal after winning versus Switzerland with 9-3. In the Men´s final Finland defeated Czech Republic with the same numbers 9-3. There were 1135 spectators following the Men´s final in Seinäjoki.
Team Finland settled the Men´s final already in the first period as the Finns led the match with 7-0 before the Czechs scored their first goal. The most effective players in the final were Joni Niiranen, who scored a hat trick, Petri Väänänen and Sami Koski with 1+2. This was the second time that Finland won the WUC title. Read more here.
