Mr. Michael Lachenmaier is taking over as interim President of the German Floorball Association as Dominique Staiger, President of the Deutscher Unihockey Bund (DUB), resigned from the office of President on October 31, 2008 due to professional and personal changes in combination with an extended stay abroad.

The Steering Committee and the Members´ Council appointed a commission with the task of proposing a qualified new President as soon as possible. The Vice President, Michael Lachenmaier, was appointed interim President on November 1. in Genthin.

Mr. Lachenmaier made the following statement: “In the name of the entire Committee and all Association members I extend my deep gratitude to Dominique Staiger for his commitment during recent years and for his great merits regarding the development of our sport in Germany.
It is now our common task to continue following the chosen successful path”.
