Russia and Hungary has qualified to the Men´s U19 WFC 2009. This was decided already before the teams met in the last match of the qualification (the match ended 3-3).
Slovenia was the team to challenge for one spot but the morning match vs Spain ended with a draw 1-1 in a thriller where Spain even could have decided the match with less than two minutes to go but the open net was not wide enough – the shot hit the post.

The Final Round, that will be played in Turku and Raisio (20km in between), Finland the 6th – 10th of May 2009, will consist of the following teams:
