The biggest independent club tournament Czech Open 2008 starts today and the finals will be played on Sunday 3rd August. This 2008 tournament is the 16th organized Czech Open tournament in a row since year 1993. The Czech Open tournament traditionally starts up the floorball season.
Categories of the tournament are Men Elite, Men Lower divisions, Women Elite and Women Lower divisions and Boys born in 1989 & younger.
This year there are teams from Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The highest favourites in the Men´s Elite category are Josba from Finland and Dalen from Sweden.
