Since two months ago there has been two new Floorball centres starting up in New Zealand apart from the other six in operation – one in North Island and one in South Island.

The emphasis now is of having long term locals involved in the organisations to promote stability in the clubs.

The first ever Kiwi Cup is scheduled to be played on June 21 – 22 in Wellington, which will also coincide with ´first-evers´ rink and full IFF regulation goals, goalkeepers and matches being played in NZ.

The New Zealand Floorball Federation has also expressed interest in attending APAC played in August in Australia with at least a men´s team.
