Five matches were needed in the women´s finals when PSS and SC Classic fought for the gold.
The decisive fifth match was as tight as the previous ones. PSS got into the lead three times, but Classic evened the score each time. In 40.28 Mari Ulmanen took classic to the lead for the first time and the score was 4-3 .
PSS still fought hard and tried to even the score in the third period, but Classic´s goalie Miia Pöntinen was unbeaten. When PSS played the final minute without the goalkeeper, Classic´s Annemari Lydén scored an empty net goal and the final score was 5-3 to Classic.
