The international weekend included three bigger tournaments and few friendly international matches.
The national men´s teams from Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic and Switzerland played the Euro Floorball Tournament in Zurich Switzerland. Sweden won the tournament by defeating Finland with a draw and a better goal difference. See the final results from the Swiss Floorball Federation´s website.
The women´s national teams from the same countries played in Gothenburg, Sweden in the World Challenge tourmanent which was also won by the Swedes, who outplayed the rest with three wins and a goal difference of 24-7. Finland became second with two wins, Switzerland became third and the Czech Republic became fourth. See the results of the matches here.
The women´s U19 tournament, Polish Cup, that took place in Babimost, Wolsztyn, and Zbaszyn, Poland, was won by Finland. The tournament was eventually played with only six teams when both Georgia and Ukraine failed to participate which resulted as walk-over matches in the B group. See all the results here.
The women´s teams of Denmark, Australia, Poland and Germany met each other in the Four Nations tournament that was played simultaneously with the Polish Cup in Poland. Denmark won the tournament by winning all matches. See all the results here.
Also Estonia´s and Latvia´s men´s national teams played against each other in Koceni, Latvia, as well as Germany challenged Austria in Vorarlberg, Austria.
