The final stage of the women´s league in Russia was played during the weekend and Nizhny Novgorod won the championship title for the fourth time. Nizhny Novgorod FBC-30 is also qualified to the EFC Final round to be played the 9th-13th of January 2008 in Finland.

Also the national cup finals were played and a new national cup winner is Burevestnik, which won the national league champion and reigning cup winner Nizhny Novgorod 5-3 in the tight final.
