For the first time Floorball is participating at the ispo summer fair in Munich.
The IFF in cooperation with the world’s biggest Floorball equipment manufacturers, the German Floorball Federation, Unihockey-Portal.de and the Czech Floorball Union is promoting Floorball at the ispo Sport & Style 2007. A unique Floorball Village has been created in order to give the German and Austrian market a true vision of what Floorball is today and re-launch it to the retailers in this area.
The Floorball Village is a specially designed area with a lot of action going on and the possibility to try the sport yourself. The Floorball Village includes the following highlights:
* Presentation of the Sport in an authentic atmosphere
* Promotion matches with famous players
* Speed shooting
* Accuracy shooting
* Dribbling track
* Beat the goalie
* Floorball Bar + lounge area
During the first days of the ispo Sport & Style the Floorball Village has been very popular amongst the ispo visitors. Especially the activity area with the Speed shooting and accuracy shooting has gathered a lot of visitors of different ages wanting to test their shot with the newest Floorball equipment.
The Floorball promotional matches with world Floorball stars, Henrik Quist (SWE), Daniel Calebsson (SWE), Markus Huhtimo (FIN), Hannes Öhman (FIN) and Lulzim Kamaj (SWI) and many more, also gathers a lot of visitors around the Floorball rink. Parts of the matches have also been televised by the ispo TV, Bavaria TV, München TV and the ZDF.
The IFF sees ispo as a great opportunity to strengthen the markets in the central Europe
