Innebandymazinet has elected Karolina Widar as the best female Floorball player in the world 2006/2007. This is the first time that this award has been given to a female player.
Karolina Widar has twice been elected the best player of the year in Sweden and once the most valuable player in the NLA in Switzerland. Widar also won two gold medals this season, one for her club team Rönnby, the Swedish champion, and the WFC gold for team Sweden.
