DFSE (Debreceni Floorball SE) became the Hungarian Champion for the season 2006/2007, meanwhile the team of Szolnok Cannibals defended their Championship title in the women’s Championship.

The final of Hungarian Men’s League was played in front of approximately 1200 spectators on the 5th of May in Debrecen. The event became a duel of extraordinary size between the teams Ares HC from Budapest and Debreceni Floorball SE. Ares HC could rely on several veteran national team players in their lines, while the team from Debrecen played its first season in the first division, with a lot of young players. The two teams used everything they had, but both scored six goals each in regular game time. Therefore a 4th period was played, where the home team managed to place the ball in the goal of Ares HC, thereby setting the final result 6-7 and conquering the Championship title.

The women’s final was arranged one day later. The teams Szent-Györgyi DSE and Szolnok Cannibals FK fought for the championship title. In a great combat, the Szolnok Cannibals FK defended their title from last season with a final result of 4-5.
