World Floorball Championships 2009
The International Floorball Federation has decided that the World Floorball Championships in Sweden in 2009 will be played in the same way as the WFC 2007. In the WFC 2009 there will thus be an A-Division and a B-Division with 10 teams each. The qualifications to the B-Division will be played in February 2009 if more than 20 teams register for the championships.
The 10th placed team in the WFC 2007 is relegated to the B-Division and the winner of the B-Division will be promoted to the A-Division. The 7th-10th placed teams of the B-Division shall qualify for the WFC 2009.
