The men´s play offs were played this weekend in Bolzano, with the semifinals and finals.

Jorgen Olshov´s (president of F.I.U.F.) report from the finals in Italy:

The spectators could enjoy an extremely thrilling final between the home team, SSV Diamante Bozen, and Viking Roma FC. SSV Diamante Bozen has been the Italian champion four times, while Viking Roma has been the runner-up three times in previous years.

The score at full time was 5-5 and five supplementary minutes were needed to decide the winner. At the end Viking Roma FC managed to bring “lo scudetto” to the capital for the first time. Interesting that this success was obtained this year when the qualification phase of the EuroFloorball Cup will be held in Rome in September.

FBC Bozen, last year’s champions, took the third place.
