The first IFF Development seminar in year 2007 was organised in Toronto, Canada 2nd-5th of April.

There were 20 participants from the Canadian Floorball Federation and the United States Floorball Association taking part in this seminar.

This time the participants of the organisational block found the history of Floorball, the recruiting of players and coaches and the match secretary training as the most interesting issues. The participants of the Referee block found Game management and Feedback for refereeing to be the most interesting subjects. The coaches from the coaching block appreciated the basic practical skills and all practical training sessions but also analysing the WFC 2006 was found very interesting.

The seminar held in Canada was the fourth IFF Development seminar organised and the IFF wants to thank the organiser, the Canadian Floorball Federation, the lecturers and the participants for making the seminar a successful event.

In 2008 the IFF´s intention is to organise development seminars in Germany and the Balkan region as well as in Eastern part of Europe.The IFF is planning to organise more seminars during the autumn 2007. One seminar is to be organised in the Mediterranean area in Spain (the dates are not yet settled). The IFF is also looking for organisers in Asia.
