Sonja Hotke, a Canadian floorball player, has written an article about floorball outreach efforts in Nicaragua. Sonja plays in the local Toronto league in Canada, and has also been chosen to represent Canada in the World Championships in Denmark the upcoming spring. In the article she tells about introducing the sport to the children during a multi-sport camp in Managua, the capital of the Central American country Nicaragua. This means that yet another country in a new continent has been introduced to floorball creating enthusiasm towards the sport of floorball.
