The Italian Floorball Association (FIUF) has signed an agreement with Philippe Soutter as the new coach for the Men’s National team.
The FIUF consider it very positive to have a person with 20 years experience of Floorball coaching to guide their national team. Mr Soutter has for many years been the coach of Swiss teams at a very high level, such as UHC Rot-Weiss Chur and HC Rychenberg.
Besides having found the ideal person to conduct the National team towards the World Championships in the Czech Republic 2008 the Italian Floorball Association is particularly satisfied with Mr Soutter’s interest to develop Floorball in Italy. The agreement lasts until the end of June 2008.
Philippe Soutter is born in Switzerland 1962 and started his carrier as a Floorball coach in 1986. He has been active in the following Swiss clubs: Winterthur-Eulach, UHC Hittnau, HC Rychenberg, UHC Rot-Weiss Chur and Floorball Thurgau. Since 2005 Soutter is the head coach of HC Rychenberg in Switzerland´s first division (NL-A).
