Poland won 4-3 the match for the fifth place versus Norway today. This match was very tight until the end but Poland was the team leading the match, never letting Norway into the lead.

In the third period the Polish team managed to get into a two goals lead, but with only five minutes left Norway scored a 3-4 goal and the match stayed very exciting. Poland could however hang into their lead and took the fifth place in this tournament.

This was the first time Poland participated in the Women´s under 19 Championships and team Poland was certainly the biggest surprise in this tournament. Obviously the Polish team was also very happy after the match.
