The New Sports Festival was held on the 23rd of September in Seoul World Cup Stadium. The festival is an annual event that introduces new sports to the citizens of Seoul. This year floorball was a part of the festival for the first time but it instantly gained a lot of success both from the children and their parents. The Korean Floorball Federation provided the event with demonstrations in shooting, penalty shots and games, basic skill teaching and friendly games.

The event was broadcasted nationally by the Korean broadcasting company, KBS.
