The second IFF Development Program Seminar was held in Rotterdam in the Netherlands between the 14th of September and the 17th of September 2006.
There were nine participants taking part in the Organisational education block, six participants taking part in the education for referees and 15 participants participating in the education for coaches. There were quite many participants from the Netherlands Floorball and Unihockey Association, but in addition there were also participants from the Belgian Floorball Federation, German Floorball Association and the Great Britain Floorball Federation.
The feedback from the Development Seminar has been very positive. Especially the tactical and practical lectures were appreciated by the persons participating in the educational block for coaches. The group discussions and the ideas offered by the IFF received very positive feedback by the persons participating in the organisational block and referee observation was appreciated by the participants taking part in the referee education.
The IFF is looking forward to organising the next Seminar in cooperation with the Polish Floorball Federation in Wolsztyn Sport School in Poland between the 5th and the 8th of October 2006.
The fourth seminar will be organised in Singapore, in Woodlands Sports School between the 14th of December and the 17th of December 2006. For this seminar the invited associations are Australia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore and new contacts from China.
