As from February 1, 2005, the IFF Central Board has lifted the suspension for Russia. Federation of Floorball of Russia has paid all Russian debts, i.e. 26 700 CHF. The reason that Russian Floorball has been under suspension is the history of debts over an substantial period of time. IFF President Mr. Tomas Eriksson says and states: “I am happy for the sake of Russian development that we together with the representatives of FFR, Mr Markov as President and Mr. Sabanchiev as vice President have settled the case and that the CB was able to take the decision to lift the suspension for Russia. Russia is, with its 89 different Floorball regions, a vital partner for the promotion of Floorball, not only in Russia, but also for the spreading of Floorball in the region, in order for our joint Vision to be an Olympic Sport, comments Tomas Eriksson”.
