The GAISF General Assembly, held in Lausanne, decided unanimously today (20.05.2004) to grant the International Floorball Federation ordinary membership.

“This is a huge and important step for Floorball”, says the IFF President Tomas Eriksson, and continues “the ordinary membership will not only make Floorball a potential participant in future World Games but is also vital for our application to gain IOC recognition”.

The IFF application for IOC recognition will be treated during the upcoming Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
